The "Tschaikowski," St. Petersburg State Orchestra was founded in the years following World War II, working in different musical genres and receiving broad acknowledgement and popularity throughout Russia. Their repertoire includes baroque compositions by Vivaldi, Bach and Handel to contemporary music, as well as the works of famous Russian Romantic composers such as Tschaikowski and Rachmaninoff. The “Tschaikowski,” St. Petersburg State Orchestra tours all over the world enjoying success in Europe, China and Japan.
