Through our Senior Program we offer life-long learning experiences to low-income seniors who would otherwise have no means to attend live theater. We provide them the opportunity to experience the performing arts with friends, family and peers from their community.

Participants are provided free Performance Previews, which feature extensive information not available in the playbill about the artists, historical significance and other, culturally diverse programs designed to enhance the experience of aficionados and non-traditional theater-goers alike.

All tickets are distributed at city meal sites and senior centers by the Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs. During the 2011 – 2012 season, 1,650 tickets to 12 Popejoy Presents shows were made available through this program, supported in part by the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund.
