In order to continue to expand Popejoy Hall’s artistic, cultural and educational programs in New Mexico, we need your help.
Like most performing arts centers, ticket sales and rental income cover only a portion of our budgetary needs. As a non-profit organization, Popejoy Hall relies heavily on caring donors so we may continue to present world-class artists and education programs for the entire community to enjoy.
Your generous gift:
- Helps to foster Popejoy’s acclaimed Schooltime Series program, the largest performing arts education program in New Mexico and one of the largest of its kind in the country.
- Keeps a 45 year Popejoy tradition alive so we may continue to present more than 90 live performances a year and introduce New Mexico to the best artists and performances from around the world.
- Impacts Albuquerque’s economy. In 2011, more than 44,000 people attended the three-week run of Wicked: the Musical. During shows like Wicked, area restaurants, hotels, and local businesses reported an increase in revenue of 10-15%.
